Founder and Director

Dr. Vivek Singh Malik, Founder and Director at Evidence-Based Management And One Health Foundation, has completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree (2021) from the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India after obtaining a Master’s of Science (M.Sc.) degree (2010) with a specialization in Biotechnology from Dr. Hari Singh Gour Sagar University, Madhya Pradesh, India. He holds SIDBI sponsored “Certificate in Enterprise Management” from Department of Management Studies IIT Delhi.

In past he started his journey as "Research Intern" at Drug Discovery Research Centre, Panacea Biotec, Mohali than as "Senior Research Fellow" (ICMR Indo-US project) at Department of Experimental Medicine and Biotechnology, PGIMER, Chandigarh, than as "Research Assistant" (ICMR Project) at Pediatric Biochemistry, Advanced Pediatric Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh. He also served as "Assistant Scientific Officer" at Punjab Biotechnology Incubator (PBTI), Mohali as well as on deputation at Regional Advance Water Testing Laboratory (RAWTL), Department of Water Supply and Sanitation, Mohali, Punjab India.

His research interests involve conducting systematic reviews and meta-analysis and monitoring environmental biomarker in water & biological sample (urine & blood). He has authored around 20 articles including original research papers, systematic reviews, and book chapter.

He has received 1^st prize in Ph.D. scholar category for his research paper on 8^th annual research day held at PGIMER, Chandigarh on 22^nd October 2021, best poster award for his Ph.D. work at 45^th ACBICON, Goa, and other outstanding awards ‘President Award’ as well as ‘Governor Award" (Chhattisgarh state) in 2002 in the field of ‘The Bharat Scouts and Guides’.

Awarded scholarship as Senior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi and from Biotech Consortium India Limited (Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India) for Industrial training. Serving as a member of Indian Science Congress, ABMS, GiAN (Global Initiative of Academic Networks), ACBICON, Society for Indoor Environment & IamSMEofindia. He has attended around 24 national/International conference / meeting as well as 23 training programs/workshop/CME in India.
